ULINK-TS USB to Link Port Converter for TigerSHARC DSPs from Analog Devices
The converter ULINK-TS allows to connect USB
port from a PC computer to "Link Port" interface in Digital Signal Processor ADSP-TS201 (TigerSHARC) from
Analog Devices.

"Link Port" interface to DSP is available in two RJ-45 sockets (Port A, Port B). The pin nubers in RJ-45 are compatible with TigerSHARC
development board. It is recomended to use standard FTP patch cords
cat. 5E like those used in Gigabit Ethernet. Maxumum cable length is
ca. 2 meters. The Interface ULINK-TS can operate in different modes:
- 1 transmitter Link Port (one data bit mode)
- 2 transmitters Link Port (one data bit mode)
- 1 receiver Link Port (one data bit mode)
In
eaach operating mode, the Link Port interface can work with or without
protection control byte (TVERE, RVERE). Of course, sending the control
byte ocuupies additional bandwith and lowers the data rate.
